He also worked as Govt. Counsel for various States and Organisations. Represents All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS),Govt. of NCT of Delhi, EPFO (Ministry of Labour, Govt Of India),Veer Kunwar Singh University Ara, Dena Bank, Rishikesh Municipal council and Hardwar Municipal Council etc in the Supreme Court. He has expertise in Criminal, constitutional and Corporate law.

An award of Rs.92 Lacs Crore passed by the Arbitral Tribunal constituted under the bye-laws of NSE, goes to his credit. He has argued the case for the claimant in the case titled as "Madan Mohan Sharma Vs Master Capital Services Ltd". This is the maximum amount of award passed by any court or tribunal. He has represented Mr Bangaru Laxman, former President, Bhartiya Janta Party in Tehlka.com case. He has been doing high profile cases like ‘AIIMS Vs Dr P Venu Gopal’, ‘M.C.Verma Vs. State’ (Jharkhand Distt. Judges case),‘Brajendra K Prasad Vs State of Bihar & Ors’(Murder case of a prominent Bajrang Dal leader of Gopalganj, Bihar) Etc.

Mr.Kumar, who originally belongs to Mastichak, has been deeply associated with the Gayatri Parivar and Chairman Trustee since his childhood and has been performing and promoting the charitable activities at various level. He has been associated with the Trust and its activities since its inception and takes care of its legal matters apart from Policy and Planning.
